Sustainability
- Sustainable and ethical products.
- Carbon neutral production: The study was performed according to the main principles of ISO 14040 and ISO 14044.
- All waste flows of the production phase are re-used. The wood for the material comes from certified forests in Finland. We use EKOenergy and electricity from our own solar panels. Heating of the factory is done using waste heat flows and carbon-neutral electricity.
- Each item ages beautifully, yet keeps its qualities. You can check how fresh the product is by its wooden scent – the stronger the scent, the newer the product!
- At the end of their long lifespan, the products can be recycled, incinerated for heat energy, or returned to the manufacturer for re-use.
