Sustainability

- Carbon-neutral production: The study was performed according to the main principles of ISO 14040 and ISO 14044.
- All waste flows from the production phase are re-used. The wood for the material comes from certified forests in Finland. We use EKOenergy and electricity from our own solar panels. The factory is heated using waste heat flows and carbon-neutral electricity.
- Each item ages beautifully while maintaining its qualities. You can check how fresh the product is from its wooden scent – the stronger the scent, the newer the product!
- At the end of their long life span, the products can be recycled, incinerated for heat energy, or returned to the manufacturer for re-use.
