NEVER KNEEL
A proud man never kneels.
Made from SLEIPNER tool steel and dressed in textured Black G-10, the NEVER KNEEL is TRC’s tactical fighting tomahawk — perfectly balanced to land every strike and MOLLE-compatible for tactical carry. A modern tribute to the Powhatan warriors who invented the form, and to a chief who would accept a crown but never bow to wear it.

Why NEVER KNEEL?
Built to strike true. Born to stand its ground.
The Head. A full-tang SLEIPNER tool-steel tomahawk with an 82 mm cutting edge, and a piercing spike set opposite the blade. The head and exposed steel haft are shaped with lightening cuts and a recessed channel to reduce unnecessary weight while keeping the working mass forward. From cutting edge to spike, the head spans 180 mm for controlled leverage in hard-use tasks.
The Handle. Contoured Black G-10 lightened scales are machined with a deep chevron texture for a secure, confident grip. Beneath them, the full-tang handle is relieved with precision weight-reducing milling, removing unnecessary steel from the grip area to achieve perfect balance and keep every strike controlled.
The Carry. A purpose-built Black Kydex sheath protects and secures the head with a fitted body and Pull-the-dot snap retention straps. Designed for tactical carry, its twin black belt loops and MOLLE-compatible mounting points allow secure attachment to a tactical vest, belt, or backpack, keeping the tomahawk stable and ready for quick access, field use, range work, and tactical tasks.
Inventors of the tomahawk gave us the form. We gave it modern steel, modern geometry, and a name worth carrying.
Inventors of the tomahawk, the Powhatan people were renowned for their raw and independent character. When the English came to their proximity, they knew they were no match for the Powhatan power. So they tried to control that great power by crowning the Powhatan chief and making him an English vassal.
There was one problem. Wahunsenacawh, the Powhatan chief, would gladly accept the crown — but he could never agree to kneeling, as the coronation procedure required. And so, he did not. The tall chief stood tall as the poor coronators tried to climb on his strong shoulders to complete the ceremony.
A proud man never kneels.
When handcrafting this hard-working tactical tomahawk, we thought about the proud Powhatans and their never-kneel attitude. Whoever owns the NEVER KNEEL will put it to many practical uses. But as you hold it in your hand, you will also feel the Powhatan spirit rushing through you — and you will protect what’s dear to you the same way Wahunsenacawh did.
