M390 Steel with DLC Coating

The blade is made from Böhler M390 powder metallurgy stainless steel, one of the most highly regarded steels used in premium knives. M390 offers excellent corrosion resistance, high wear resistance and outstanding edge retention.

The M390 steel used in the Freedom series is hardened to approximately 61–62 HRC, providing an excellent balance between edge retention, toughness and everyday usability.

The blade features a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating, giving it a distinctive black finish while reducing reflections and providing additional surface protection against wear and environmental exposure.

Black Canvas Micarta Handle

The black Canvas Micarta handle scales provide a secure and comfortable grip in a wide range of conditions. A subtle red liner underneath the Micarta adds a distinctive visual detail to the otherwise understated black design.
